Animal Clinical Investigation LLC (ACI) has been successful in the design and the implementation of numerous clinical trials for pet animals. These trials have included novel chemotherapeutic agents, immunotherapeutic strategies using cytokine and tumor vaccines, antiangiogenic therapies for dogs and cats with cancer and specialized diets for animals with a number of diseases. Trials have included pivotal trials submitted for regulatory review and proof-of-concept studies. Trials are managed with Good Clinical Practice Standards and in accordance with VICH guidelines.

Clinical trials organized by ACI have been primarily focused on the problem of cancer through a network of collaborating veterinary oncologists and veterinary radiation oncologists.

In the area of cancer, ACI’s Oncology Network represents the largest veterinary cancer "faculty" in the United States. ACI draws upon a large case load of veterinary cancer patients, allowing for the rapid accrual of clinical data from the trials.

We have recently expanded our efforts to include other serious problems seen in pet animals including inflammatory and metabolic disease, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, and other age-related problems.
