Kristen Khanna, PhD, MBA
President
Dr. Kristen Khanna completed her Ph.D. in Pathobiology at the University of Minnesota and her post-doctoral training in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She completed her MBA at the Johns Hopkins School of Professional Studies and Business Education. She has worked with several biotechnology start-up organizations in the areas of external relations, business development and strategic planning. Dr. Khanna is also founder and president of Laboratory Link, LLC, a consulting practice assisting in efforts to bring scientific discoveries to market. Tony Rusk, DVM
Vice President of Clinical Affairs
Tony received his BS in Biology at Ball State University in Indiana. He is a graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Friendship Hospital for Animals in June 2000. Tony was a staff veterinarian at Friendship Hospital for Animals until he joined the Oncology Service and Animal Clinical Investigation (ACI) in January 2001. He became Director of Clinical Trials in September 2001 and Vice President of Clinical Affairs in July 2005. Through his affiliation with ACI, Tony has been involved in the successful design and implementation of more then 20 clinical trials in veterinary medicine. Gary S. Hogge, DVM, MS, PhD
Vice President of Regulatory Affairs
Gary received his BS in Microbiology and DVM from Colorado State University. He then received his MS and PhD in Immunology/Oncology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Gary was previously employed in the Immunology R&D Department of the Animal Health Division of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Following his PhD, Gary was a visiting scientist at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research in Brisbane Australia, where he continued his work in the field of tumor vaccines and gene therapy. Once he returned to the US, Gary joined the Oncology Clinical Development program at Maxim Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Animal Clinical Investigation he was an Associate Director in the Clinical Development Department at Elan Pharmaceuticals. Gary played a key role in the development and approval of Tysabri® (natalizumab) for the treatment of multiple sclerosis as well as the clinical development of Tysabri® in other autoimmune diseases.
