The tumor, seen early after treatment was initiated.

Bandit Before Treatment

Bandit is a 12 year old Rottweiler-mix that receives a new cancer treatment through ACI called antiangiogenic therapy.  Antiangiogenic therapy blocks the blood supply to tumors like Bandit's squamous cell carcinoma of the mouth. The therapy that Bandit receives is referred to as peptides of Thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) which are forms of antiangiogenic therapy.

Bandit's tumor began to decrease in size after several months of antiangiogenic therapy and remains small over 3 years later. He has had no side effects and continues smiling.

Early during treatment the tumor continued to enlarge.

After 90 days of treatment, administered to Bandit by his owner at home, the tumor began to regress and was completely gone soon after.
