The ACI Specialty Care Network is modeled on the success of the ACI Oncology Network, but includes all veterinary specialties. The network permits veterinary patients with diseases and syndromes other than cancer to participate in clinical trials geared directed towards their illness. The Specialty Care Network will focus on research opportunities in the following areas:

• Cardiology (Heart Disease)
• Dermatology (Skin Disease)
• Gastroenterology
• Rheumatology (Joint Disease/ Arthritis)
• Endocrinology (Diabetes, Cushing’s Disease)
• Neurology
• Pain Management
• Surgery
